In India's evolving solar landscape, site design decisions aren’t just technical—they’re economic. The latest SgurrEnergy report confirms what many in the field have seen firsthand: single-axis trackers consistently outperform fixed-tilt systems in energy yield, capacity utilization factor (CUF), and long-term value. - Trackers showed higher annual energy yield across three diverse Indian sites. - Higher energy densities due to dynamic tracking and irradiance capture. - Higher transposition and bifacial gains, especially in regions with high DNI and undulating terrain. While fixed-tilt systems offer lower upfront CAPEX, the numbers are clear—trackers deliver stronger LCOE economics under real-world conditions. Now is the time to rethink your assumptions about site selection and system configuration. Tejasv (TJ) Bhardwaj Nick Price Ram Charan Inturi @abhilash Pamulaparthy

  • Today, Nextracker is debuting NX Earth Truss® in Australia, a breakthrough foundation technology that expands utility-scale solar siting potential, easing land-use constraints and accelerating project timelines. With support from Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) for a pilot project, NX Earth Truss enables development on challenging terrain, such as hard or rocky soils, helping developers and EPCs unlock more viable sites across Australia. At the core of Nextracker’s system is the NX Truss Driver™, a semi-autonomous drilling machine equipped that installs the foundations in a single pass, reducing labour hours, eliminating rework, and de-risking construction timelines.

  • This week, the Nextracker team participated in the XII Foro Solar in Madrid, hosted by @UNEF — a key platform to explore the future of solar energy in Spain and across Europe. Our speaker at this edition was Antonio Sendin, Nextracker’s Sales Director EU, who shared insights on how advanced tracker technology is helping overcome today’s challenges in utility-scale solar. From local manufacturing and the NZIA, to permitting, energy pricing, and storage — the discussions were grounded, timely, and needed. One thing is clear: Europe is entering a pivotal phase of solar growth. Delivering on its full potential will require tight alignment between policy, manufacturing, and innovation. At Nextracker, we’re proud to contribute with field-proven technology, resilient supply chains, and long-term partnership. Thank you to UNEF and everyone who made this year’s Foro Solar a success. See you at the next one! #ForoSolar #UNEF #SolarSpain #SolarEurope #CleanEnergy #Nextracker

  • Partnering with EDP Renewables North America and PCL Construction on Azalea Springs demonstrates what American solar can achieve. Built with locally sourced steel from our Texas factories and powered by NX Horizon-XTR™ technology – which follows the land’s natural contours, so no grading is required – this 180-MW project stands as a model for delivering reliable, homegrown energy while creating local jobs and strengthening U.S. manufacturing. Congratulations to everyone who helped make it possible! We can’t wait to help power what’s next.

We’re powering #Texas with American-made, reliable energy.⚡☀️ Last week, we brought together community members, local officials, and industry partners to inaugurate Azalea Springs Solar in Lufkin, Texas. This 180-megawatt solar site is powering the equivalent of more than 27,800 average Texan homes—while delivering jobs, revenue, and energy security to the people and businesses of Angelina County. To date, the project has generated approximately $40 million in local spending and created up to 250 American jobs during construction. Over its lifetime, it’s projected to contribute $35 million in revenue to local governments to support vital public services and infrastructure. Azalea Springs Solar stands as a testament to our commitment to building local energy with local benefits. This solar site is shoring up U.S. manufacturing, driving local job creation, and fueling economic growth across the Lone Star State. Congratulations to the EDPR NA team, Angelina County, and all our partners and suppliers who made this project possible. Together, we’re strengthening Texas’s energy mix and delivering long-term economic value for Texans statewide. 👉 Read more about Azalea Springs Solar at: https://lnkd.in/gNVjDtEJ #solarpower #Texas #renewables #EDPRNA
